Grants

Small grants for the benefit of Buckfastleigh

The Feoffees consider small grant applications that fit the charity's purposes and benefit the parish.

What we support

Church, community activity, and parish benefit

The charity can support St Luke's, Holy Trinity, the churchyard, local organisations and activities, and other purposes that benefit the parish.

Applications

Requests are considered by the trustees

Applications may be submitted by organisations. Trustees may also consider limited requests for young people and parish residents taking part in activities with educational, charitable, or community value. Each request is considered on its merits, with funds directed where they are believed to be most appropriate.

How to apply

What to include in writing

For an application to be considered, the following information should be provided in writing.

Trustees consider individual applications where the request has a clear educational, charitable, or community purpose and a connection with the parish.

  • The name of the organisation or person applying, including email address, postal address, and phone number.
  • The sum requested, with a specific amount stated.
  • The intended use of the funding.
  • Why the Feoffees are considered the most appropriate funding body, and whether other sources of funding are available in part or in whole.

Applications may be submitted at any time. To be considered at a particular meeting, they should be received by the relevant deadline below.
